But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent or the just, for I will not acquit the guilty.

Now people were bringing the little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, and the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and told them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them, and blessed them.
Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be party to his death.

For He has not despised or detested the torment of the afflicted. He has not hidden His face from him, but has attended to his cry for help.

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices more over that one sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am frail; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are in agony.
Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.

In the same way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.
What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Now to Him who is able to do so much more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,
If men who are fighting strike a pregnant woman and her child is born prematurely, but there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband demands and as the court allows.
But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
Then all your sons will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their prosperity.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.”
Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will bring delight to your soul.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody.
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. I know your deeds, your labor, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles. Without growing weary, you have persevered and endured many things for the sake of My name. But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love. Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen. Repent and perform the deeds you did at first. But if you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. . . .
