Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools,
A wise man fears and turns from evil, but a fool is careless and reckless. A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, and a devious man is hated. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
For the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; their acts are vile. There is no one who does good.
Stay away from a foolish man; you will gain no knowledge from his speech. The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools deceives them. Fools mock the making of amends, but goodwill is found among the upright.
This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John,
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
From there, Elisha went up to Bethel, and as he was walking up the road, a group of boys came out of the city and jeered at him, chanting, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” Then he turned around, looked at them, and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Suddenly two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.

He who trusts in himself is a fool, but one who walks in wisdom will be safe.
But reject foolish and ignorant speculation, for you know that it breeds quarreling. And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing.

Every man is senseless and devoid of knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols. For his molten images are a fraud, and there is no breath in them.
Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise?
Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. Consequently, whoever resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Then do what is right, and you will have his approval. For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not carry the sword in vain. He is God’s servant, an agent of retribution to the wrongdoer. Therefore it is necessary to submit to authority, not only to avoid punishment, but also as a matter of conscience. . . .
A feast is prepared for laughter, and wine makes life merry, but money is the answer for everything.

He is a glutton and a drunkard.” Then all the men of his city will stone him to death. So you must purge the evil from among you, and all Israel will hear and be afraid.
No man with crushed or severed genitals may enter the assembly of the LORD.

As for those who are agitating you, I wish they would proceed to emasculate themselves!

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to the fire of hell.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
So now, kill all the boys, as well as every woman who has had relations with a man, but spare for yourselves every girl who has never had relations with a man.
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.
A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, and a devious man is hated.
The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools deceives them.
Folly is joy to one who lacks judgment, but a man of understanding walks a straight path.
It is better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly.
Give strong drink to one who is perishing, and wine to the bitter in soul.
The woman named Folly is loud; she is naive and knows nothing.

Your teeth are like a flock of newly shorn sheep coming up from the washing; each has its twin, and not one of them is lost.
These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!
For the shepherds have become senseless; they do not seek the LORD. Therefore they have not prospered, and all their flock is scattered.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool displays his folly.

Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a helpless people.
The woman named Folly is loud; she is naive and knows nothing. She sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the heights of the city, calling out to those who pass by, who make their paths straight. “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” she says to him who lacks judgment. “Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is tasty!”
And I saw that wisdom exceeds folly, just as light exceeds darkness:
But they are altogether senseless and foolish, instructed by worthless idols made of wood!
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he care for the church of God?
