Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.

He had no stately form or majesty to attract us, no beauty that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so they could go and anoint the body of Jesus.
