Soon his wife Jezebel came in and asked, “Why are you so sullen that you refuse to eat?” . . .

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have the whole assembly stone him. . . .

This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, who testifies to everything he saw. This is the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near. John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him who is and was and is to come, and from the seven Spirits before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. And the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to serve Him and pronounce blessings in His name and to give a ruling in every dispute and case of assault. . . .

And again He bent down and wrote on the ground.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.

He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
